Yes, you can gift a Mondly subscription, but please read this article carefully to understand the best way to do it.
Since Mondly does not offer gift codes or prepaid vouchers, subscriptions must be assigned manually to the correct account.
How to gift a Mondly subscription
- Purchase the subscription yourself (via www.mondly.com)
We will help you transfer the subscription to the correct person’s Mondly account.
To make it work smoothly:
- The recipient needs to have an active account on Mondly using their email address
- This account should be created with email + password login, not Google, Apple, or Facebook
- This is important to prevent the system from creating a second account later
- Send us the invoice with the order number after the purchase → This helps us locate the subscription and reassign it properly
2. Let us know who the subscription is for by contacting support@mondly.com
- If the person already has a Mondly account, and you purchase the subscription using their email address on the Mondly website, the subscription will automatically be assigned to them → This only works if their account login is by email + password
Important notes
- If the person logs in with Google, Facebook, or Apple, the system may create a new account. → This can prevent the gift from being linked to their existing progress
- If you use the recipient’s email address during the purchase, an account will automatically be created under that email (if it doesn’t exist yet). → The invoice and all purchase-related emails will be sent to that address
This is often the easiest way to gift a subscription — just make sure the recipient is aware, and that they can access the email used at checkout.
