Life feels very different now than it did one year ago. But despite working from home for such a long time, we at Mondly kept doing the best work possible. We may be apart, but our desire to make Mondly better every day for you challenged us to be more together than ever.

Major design update

Exciting news for all our users: we’ve updated Mondly with an all-new design that’s more beautiful and more intuitive than ever.

We know how important accessibility is for you in an app. Regardless of its purpose, every app has to be intuitive and easy-to-use. This is why we’re always improving Mondly to offer the best possible language learning experience.

This year, we wanted the new design to be compact, yet more data-rich than ever. The new Mondly app focuses on your learning journey and makes every step of the way completely seamless.

We’ve adjusted visual elements to fill the screen for a more immersive experience, we’ve chosen just the right colors to improve readability and stimulate intuitive interactions and we’ve kept only the essential design elements in order to offer you a more focused learning experience. Naturally, all these updates result in a cleaner design that is all about simplicity and following your instincts.

The redesigned Mondly app is more intuitive than ever before and we can’t wait for you to try it on Android, iOS and web.

Featured in top 10 Education apps in Europe

In this time of uncertainty and social distancing, any praise values ten times more to us. That is why we were thrilled to find out Mondly ranked among the top 10 most downloaded education apps in Europe, according to data from May.

Additionally, the same input reveals Mondly as the 2nd most downloaded language learning app.

We are beyond honored and thankful to know you turned to Mondly while in self-isolation and we hope you’ll continue to do so every time you’ll want to learn a new language.

Joined Playstation Partners

Another big announcement comes from Playstation: Mondly is now officially a Playstation Partner.

For years, PlayStation has been home to adventure and innovation. Every week, millions of people experience the extraordinary by playing solo or together through a best-in-class online network. So we’re thrilled that Mondly VR will soon be available on yet another iconic platform.

For over 40 years, Apple has been working with educators to create technologies for students, teachers, and school administrators and help them share in a rich and meaningful learning experience. There’s no denying that Apple is a giant and a force for change not only when it comes to technology, but also to education and many more other areas.

This is why we are proud to have been featured once again in “What’s new in education” at this year’s WWDC.

Even before Mondly, we have always drawn inspiration from Apple and Steve Jobs we have all the more reasons to be honored and continue doing the best work of our lives.
